RESPECT! Program
Please find below the tools that constitute the “RESPECT! Program.” This program has been developed for the use of multiple youth sports, as well as for officials’ organizations. It is intended to stem the exodus of officials and young athletes from sports participation. We hope that you will enthusiastically embrace and utilize this Program, as we strive together to improve the experience of youth sport participation for everyone involved and to mitigate the detrimental effects of adult misconduct and misbehavior. Best practice utilization of the RESPECT! program would be to introduce the program at an early-season team meeting. However, the program has been designed to also be implemented electronically. Please download and make sufficient copies to hand out two Pledge sheets (two-sided) to each meeting participant (or distributed electronically). After group signing collect one signed copy for your records and leave one signed copy with each meeting participant.
