ABOUT:  Brandon serves as the Senior Vice President, Head of Residential Construction at CoreFirst Bank and Trust. Brandon joined CoreFirst in 2019 to serve as Vice President, Commercial Lending. In 2022, Brandon was promoted to oversee the bank’s residential construction lending activity.  As the Senior Vice President, Brandon collaborates with high-profile local home builders who help families achieve the American dream of home ownership. Prior to joining CoreFirst, Brandon spent 18 years at Bank of Blue Valley, most recently as the Vice President, Commercial Lending.

Brandon attended Emporia State University and Johnson County Community College. Brandon also holds a technical degree in Sports Massage Therapy. Brandon currently resides in Overland Park with his wife, Meggin and two dogs – Sophie and Stella. Meggin and Brandon have two sons – Corbyn and Logan. Corbyn and Logan played sports at the collegiate level and are now actively pursuing degrees at Kansas State University and the University of Kansas, respectively.

Brandon is an avid sports fan, having played various sports (football, basketball, baseball, and soccer) in his youth. He has volunteered through the Kansas City Football and Cheerleading club and premier baseball organizations to develop athletes’ individual skills, knowledge of the game, and to help them grow as a person. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family.
