LIBRARY INDEX
INTRODUCTION - REFERENCE LIBRARY USE
Throughout this site we have provided what we believe are sound, early step advice and information to acquaint and familiarize visitors with basic, first step mental/behavioral health matters. We do so in pursuit of fulfilling our mission to promote mental heath awareness and to contribute to suicide prevention among young athletes and competitors. We further strive to assist parents and other advocates to create positive, competitive environments and experiences for our youth participating in sports and other competitive activities.
Our Library is replete with useful off-site resources that will permit interested parties to continue their research beyond the early step advice provided on this website. As the third and final step of our three step advisory/educational concierge type services, please feel free to peruse the various resources listed below that includes links to helpful sites, books, articles, videos and other miscellaneous resources to assist interested visitors to continue their education and knowledge of our important mental/ behavioral health matters.
Always remember to strive to enjoy and make your children’s competitive activities positive and enjoyable for your entire family — it won’t last forever. Above all else, remember to talk to your children about their feelings… building self esteem is the goal!
