The BMS Project

HOW TO USE OUR SITE

Visitors can navigate this site by using the main menu dropdowns.

FIRST TIME VISITORS

First review our “Legal Liability Statement.”  The BMS Project Inc., provides educational and advisory services.  The recommendations and advice provided are not intended to be the sole source of information necessary to make personal mental/behavioral health decisions.  Medical decisions should always be made at individuals’ discretion based on what they deem to be in the best interest of themselves and/or their families.  After reviewing our Legal Liability Statement, we further recommend first time users also peruse the “About Us” information by utilizing the main menu “About Us” dropdown and view our short, overview “Introduction Video“.

ADVOCATES

One of the most important uses of our site is to assist Advocates (parents, coaches, mentors, officials and school counselors) in our collective efforts to create positive, safe competitive environments and experiences.  To do so, we provide an “Advocates Tool Box” of helpful resources.

PARENTS & YOUNG ADULT COMPETITORS

Two other important functions of our site are to provide first-step mental health guidance and crisis intervention resources for parents of minors, as well as young adult competitors (18 years of age and older).  Each section of this site is organized in a sequential, step-by-step fashion progressively escorting users from simple, first-step introductions to more expanded, secondstep information, then thirdstep and beyond expanded resources presented in our “Library to explore.

OTHER USER MAIN MENU DROP DOWNS

"SURVEYS," “FUNDRAISING” & "LIBRARY"

We provide other main menu dropdowns on various topics. Our proprietary “R U/We Okay 2Day?” survey system is currently in a pilot test phase. This system will be used in partnership with youth sport leagues and competitive youth organizations.  When operable, it will permit parents to monitor their children’s enthusiasm towards their competitive endeavor, as well as their general life satisfaction, as compared to their peers.

Our fundraising efforts will initially be limited to seeking donations and conducting self-funding activities/events.  We anticipate applying for grants in the future.  We are a Missouri 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation.

A “Library” of mental health reference materials where we will continue to add books, articles, videos and links to other types of media suggestions and a “Glossary” of commonly used mental health terms.
