The BMS Project is a diverse organization made-up of partners, affiliates, community leaders, business people, philanthropists and mental health professionals across the U.S.\u00a0 The BMS Project consists of a collection of no-cost licensed programs that contribute to the good health, safety and well-being of athletes and their families.\u00a0 We are parents and coaches who support competitive endeavors while\u00a0remaining sensitive\u00a0<\/span>about the potential impact on physical, mental and spirit\/spiritual health.\u00a0 We also strive to collaborate with and support other youth sports organizations committed to contribute to young athletes safety, good health and general well-being.\u00a0 In 2026, we anticipate developing and introducing\u00a0 similar resources for “Youth in the Arts.”<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The BMS Project assists organizations, institutions, youth leagues, parents and coaches to create positive, safe and balanced, healthy, competitive environments in which young participants can thrive, develop and grow.\u00a0 The BMS Project programs first provide orientation resources; then provide simple, step-by-step, practical advice and assistance aids; as well as “next-step” resource suggestions.\u00a0 We endorse adult support of young athletes with the goal to contribute to create better people.<\/p>

The BMS Project has a Teens Program focused on mental health and suicide prevention.\u00a0 The Teens Program utilizes Four Pillars: an 1) Introduction, a 2) Pledge, 3) Quick Pulse Metrics Surveys and 4) “Help-a-Friend 2Day” stickers.\u00a0 Additionally, The BMS Project offers an Early Adolescents Program focused on fostering positive, supportive adult behavior. The Early Adolescents Program utilizes Four Pillars: an 1) Introduction, 2) a Pledge, 3) Parental Survey and 4) Top Ten Tips Sheets for Coaches as well as for Parents and Grandparents.\u00a0 A Children’s Program is in development; as well as a, “Respect the Keepers of the Game” (RESPECT Program) for officials.\u00a0 We further anticipate developing and introducing a program for “Youth in the Arts.”<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The BMS Project’s programs provide educational and other resources for four categories of stakeholders: 1) Children (ages 4-7), 2) Early Adolescents (8-12),\u00a0 3) Teens (13-17) and 4) Adult\/Elite athletes program (18 & older).\u00a0 The Children’s Program focuses on literacy, good health, safety and well-being.\u00a0 The Early Adolescents Program addresses and encourages positive adult behavior and support for young athletes.\u00a0 The Teen Program emphasizes mental health and suicide prevention.\u00a0 The Adult\/Elite athletes program addresses concerns specific to mature, adult athletes.<\/span><\/p>

Our early-step good health, safety and well-being programs are simple to implement and easy to maintain.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>Our resources can be accessed several ways:<\/p>

Fi<\/u><\/b>rst<\/b> – By using the main menu drop downs: 1) Body (Physical), 2) Mind (Mental Health and Suicide Prevention) and 3) Spirit (i.e. Personal\/Group Attitudes, Bonding and Motivation, as well as Metaphysical and Spirituality).<\/p>

Second<\/strong><\/span> – By using the submenu, quick links, grouped by age located under the main menu.<\/p>

Third<\/strong><\/span> – By using the “All Sports Directory” quick link icon located under the main menu.<\/p>

Our Corporate Headquarters is located in Kansas City, Missouri (Jackson County). We work nationally through existing youth organizations, affiliates, institutions and other nonprofit organizations that share our ideals and common goals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The BMS Holdings Group LLC was formed in 2021.   In 2022, The BMS Project Inc. was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.  The BMS Holdings Group LLC then began to create programs for the use of  The BMS Project Inc. that it licensed to The BMS Project.   The original emphasis of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization was to address mental health and suicide prevention concerns for young athletes and their families utilizing concierge-like educational advice and “next-step” suggested resources.<\/p>\n

In 2023, it was decided to broaden the mission of The BMS Project Inc.  to assist youth sports advocates to create positive, safe competitive environments and experiences.  Subsequently, spirit\/spirituality resources were also added as part of the suggestions and advice offered by The BMS Project Inc.  The BMS Project programs currently address sexual misconduct, bullying\/hazing, child abuse, addictions\/substance abuse; as well as continuing to promote mental health awareness and how to find and vet therapists\/counselors.  Additionally, resources have been added to address physical well-being concerns such as concussions and suggested recovery down times.<\/p>\n

In 2026, The BMS Project Inc. ceased operation; however, BMS Holdings Group LLC continues to license and offer its programs at no cost to youth sports organizations locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.  BMS Holdings Group LLC currently operates using the dba’s The BMS Project, Quick Pulse Metrics and Go-Okie Dokie Books & More.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
