children and adolescence, over the last 26 yrs, I hope to bring a clinician&#8217;s perspective, to this organization&#8217;s efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Originally, having completed medical school at the University of Kansas and Psychiatry Residency in Little Rock, AR, I joined Psychiatry Associates of Kansas City in July of 1996.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Holding various leadership positions with different area hospitals and opening psychiatry units, my practice, presently, is entirely outpatient focused.<\/p>\n<p>There are clear indicators, societally, that recognition of mental illness, gaining access to treatment, and broader acceptance, of these conditions, remain a great concern.&nbsp; Ideally, that&#8217;s where we can make strides, through the BMS Project.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section
